"Living Life for the music, as long as I still walk around."
I never meant to tell her that I loved her I meant to say goodbye And now I’m in a whole lotta trouble And you can understand why I could make a run for the border But they would find me somehow Maybe hide out at my brothers take a last train from Barstow
For those weary travelers that find themselves at a crossroads. I hope you find some good musical vibes with me.
It ain't much, but at least it sounds pretty good. Hope to see you around the next bend...
Doctor Dale’s Rockin’ Road Show is a music revue performed by a man with over forty years of show business under that guitar strap. He once said, “If you peeled off my skin, you’d probably find a song list there.” Over the long stretch of his musical career, chances are he’s probably performed there. His guitar in hand, and in the company of questionable characters, Dale rocked and rattled the rafters of nearly every establishment in, and around the Midwest. He’s been the guy standing in the middle of the spotlight for so long, he has a designated parking space there.
Now as a solo artist, he brings that depth of musical knowledge and audience kinship into his musical shows. A consummate professional and agile emcee, he manages to entertain the most stoic of crowds. “My father should have been Bob Hope. That’s the kind of vaudevillian type I like to portray on stage – a cross between Bob Hope and Johnny Carson.”
With that, the music is the main thing. He’s adept at performing Rock Classics (The Who, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, CCR, Bob Seger) – New Country (Gary Allen, Midland, Michael Ray, Old Dominion) – Classic Country (Cash, Waylon, Willie, Buck Owens) – Newer Rock (One Republic, Tom Petty, REM) – and even the Classic – Classics (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Mills Brothers). Plus a whole pocketful of Original music sprinkled throughout the show. (Salt to taste)
Put it all together, and the Doctor has the correct prescription as a solo artist and entertainer you should consider hiring for your venue. Just send him an email and I’m sure he’s got the correct elixir for the ailment of the blues. “Play music. It cures nearly all maladies.”
